“My quest is to be a catalyst for green industrialization in Africa. I believe that as a continent, we have enormous potential to not just develop by copying existing economic development models but instead develop new ones guided by the SDGs.Leveraging new research discoveries and technologies to build a green and sustainable economy.”

To achieve this quest, interplay between the private, public, and research sectors is necessary. My quest is to connect the relevant parties from each sector. I am pleased to work with great people and organizations in Ethiopia to achieve this goal; especially important to me is the work on UNESCO Green Academies, the Seratera Sustainable Startup Consortium, and being part of the Quest for Action Team.

And I am looking forward to sharing more about the journey on the Quest4Action Platform.
